You
can eliminate theft in your company
The violent crime rate has remained barely unchanged. However, the statistics for nearly all categories of crimes against property rose last year, including burglaries, vehicular thefts, possession of stolen goods and minor thefts. It's the first substantial increase in property crimes in over a decade. Important increases were also noticed for common minor offences, such as mischief, shoplifting and disturbing the peace. Some police forces explain the increase of minor offences to the new reporting procedures introduced in 2003, which makes it easier for the public to report these types of crime to the police.
On the other hand, Canadian authorities noticed a considerable decline in the shoplifting rate in stores that have installed camera surveillance systems. The new digital recording systems gives you a sharper clearer image better than the former video recording systems that uses cassettes. This means that it's easier to visually identify an individual.
